Sewer Camera Service Technician

The duties of this position center on the diagnostic research and repairs of the IBAK and Insight sewer camera inspection equipment products. This position requires approximately 30 days of factory training which includes travel.

The position is a full time 40 hours per week located out of the Richland, MS office. Wages will be determined on knowledge level in the fields of electronical repair, computer repair knowledge will be a plus. The position will include benefits such as earned paid vacation program, paid holidays, health insurance program.

Basic Position Requirements

  • Basic electrical service experience.
  • Basic computer experience.
  • Electrical schematic knowledge.
  • Above average communication and customer relation skills.
  • Strong self-motivational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to manufactures locations periodically for training.

In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns in on time
  • Prepares inspection and appraisal reports
  • Correctly charges work to appropriate work order segments
  • Communicates effectively with Service Writer, Shop Coordinator, and/or Shop Manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed up on
  • Works in a cooperative manner with other team members from all branches to accomplish the goals of the shop and the company
  • Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components
  • Prepares, inspects, and operates machines prior to delivery
  • Removes, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and parts
  • Performs on the road service as required
  • Familiar with computer engine diagnostics and hydraulics - Equipment Mechanic with CDL Class B (Willing to Get CDL)
  • Services and maintains equipment sold and/or owned by the company
  • Tests, measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots machine and mechanical malfunctions and failures
