Sewer Information Software

The basic functions of IKIS include data settings for TV inspections, cleaning and renovation tasks, reading, saving and evaluating operational data, photos, films and documents, documentation of work completed and graphic display of the position and condition of the sewerage network.
The sewer database offers easy access to all saved data and comes ready equipped with an easy-to-read sewer network graphic, which shows sewer objects with the aid of background plans and aerial views on the basis of vector and grid files. All the detailed data belonging to a sewer object can be viewed on the graphical user interface with a few simple mouse clicks, and can then be edited where required.
Easily understood statistics and reports document the current status of the individual sewer objects and support the user when evaluating, monitoring and checking the whole sewer network. For analyses affecting multiple sewer networks, IKIS produces a data transfer file for geo-information systems. IKIS can be installed either locally using a single workstation license on a desktop PC or on a multiple-workstation client-server environment. Its network architecture facilitates access from several workstations at a time. Each IKIS workstation can be adjusted to suit its individual operational requirements. Data are managed within a high-performance SQL Server system. Thus IKIS can be used as a video server, for example.
Viewing and managing data is very easy using IKIS. A topic-related network graphic is created on the basis of request filters with very freely configurable settings; for example, sections according to material, year of construction, defect classes or need for renovation. Geo-referenced DXF, TIF or JPG maps can be used for background plans and aerial views.
By clicking on the sewer object you need in the network graphic, you can directly access the relevant inspection photos and films (in MPEG or PANORAMO format), metrics, such as tilt and data entry dialogs for detailed base and inspection data on the sewer. Additional documents, such as PDFs or JPG images, can be easily assigned to the relevant sewer object using drag and drop.
In order to ascertain inspection requirements, a request for the next inspection interval is initiated and the channel objects are displayed in the IKIS network graphical display. Then selected objects (sections, laterals, manholes) are exported along with all data required for inspection (master data, background plans, aerial views, etc.) and passed to the inspector. The data export function informs IKIS when and if a data export has taken place.
If the task has been completed, the newly created inspection data are assigned and archived automatically in IKIS with the help of the Import Wizard. This closed data cycle guarantees that IKIS provides consistently high-quality data.
Coding and reference tables (e.g. ISYBAU XML) are set out precisely by IKIS. Thus master data such as section numbers or materials no longer have to be entered manually for TV inspections. The whole work process is thus faster, and possible sources of error are eliminated at an early stage.

In addition to reports, statistics, digital images and sewer network maps, it is also possible to view MPEG and PANORAMO films quickly and easily. The Report Viewer is also a licence-free program, with which the entire inspection data can be forwarded onto the customer.

With the IKAS 32 Reportviewer, inspection data (digital reports, statistics, MPEG and Panoramo films) can be transferred to a preferred media format (DVD, USB-HDD...) and viewed.
The software is available in a wide range of languages. Due to the modular and optionally expandable configuration, IKAS 32 can be quickly and easily aligned with a diverse range of requirements. Even the basic IKAS 32 system is available for a variety of functional environments. First of all for the professional TV inspection vehicles with comprehensive technical equipment, with which the IKAS 32 interacts. Additionally, tailored IKAS 32 variants are available for small systems, such as the IBAK control box (from BK 3.5), the MobiLite and an office version for project pre and post-processing (Operating system prerequisites dependent on the system hardware In the case of some functions described these are options subject to a surcharge). The IKAS 32 can be equipped with a wide range of interface modules – for example ATV-M150, IKIS4, ISYBAU, TVKANDIS4, BE-BEFDSS, NL-SUFRIB2, DK-DANDAS, EN13508 and many more besides. With the IKAS 32 modules the input screens, reference tables, reports (inspection reports), coding systems for the sewer condition, and data imports and exports are all provided. For IKAS 32 operators, maximum data security is granted with the IKAS 32 interface modules tailored to the customer's target system, from the verified data input right through to the standard-conformant data transfer to the customer.
Options – subject to a surcharge – are functional expansions, which may require additional hardware equipment (e. g. measurement function, PANORAMO analysis, ...) Detailed information can be found in the respective brochures, on the relevant brochure pages.

A work order consists of just the sewer data and the cadastral plan, which can be acquired electronically from the sewer information system. After the cleaning is finished, the operational data collected during the flushing procedure can be digitally transferred to the sewer data management system. In this way, a paperless flow of data is established between the cleaner and the information system.
IKAS Cleaner is simple to use and can be run on a notebook or touch book in the vehicle. For a flushing and cleaning contract, the sewer master data with geographical coordinates can be read in and displayed on the monitor, together with the graphical cadastral map. The operator selects the predetermined sections, manholes and laterals and adds the operational data such as flushing pressure, water quantity, etc. In this way IKAS Cleaner is completed without any text input. All of the data is acquired using a mouse or touchscreen for checkboxes or to select items from drop-down menus. The time taken for the acquisition is no longer than that required for filling out paper lists. The progress of the work can be seen directly on the sewer network design.

Modern and efficient user guidance is offered to the user. Thanks to intuitive operating procedures, after even a short learning period, the inspector is fully in control of acquisition and analysis of sewer data with all the complex details.

Sewer Line Inspection

It offers revolutionary camera technology with the ROTAX panning mechanism, whereby the camera picture always stays right-side up and correctly oriented, even when the camera head is panned, tilted or rotated. The orientation in the pipe is considerably facilitated. This system can be controlled, for example by means of a BE7. Adding an Orion 2.9 with T66 would make sense in order zu cover smaller pipe dimensions.

The POLARIS has been developed into a pan and tilt camera capable of working in pipes of DN 100 and up.
The camera‘s position at the very front of the device means that no precision guide is visible in the images shown during inspections.
The POLARIS is compatible with IBAK‘s LISY satellite system and with the MiniLite and MobiLite pushrod camera systems.
Two pre-settable focus-point save points make the joint inspection panning process even more convenient. Since frequent refocusing is no longer necessary, the user can reach the targeted position even faster.

Any desired viewing direction is reached most rapidly under microprocessor control by the pan/rotate head. The NANO can rotate endlessly around its own axis. The pan function permits a view in all directions, automatic rotation to inspect pipe joints and a view to the rear into laterals. The NANO generates an erect image in axial direction thanks to the UPC function (upright picture control).
With its slim diameter of 47 mm, the camera can be operated with all IBAK push rod systems, camera tractors and LISY systems and has full bend-passing capability. It can be ordered as of now as a single camera head or in combination with a MiniLite push rod system from IBAK and all branch offices and partners.

Every required viewing range is reached rapidly by the microprocessor controlled pan and tilt head. ORION 2.9 can rotate endlessly around its own axis. By means of the pan function it is possible to view in all directions and even to view "backwards" into the branch when automatically panning to inspect pipe joints. The ORION 2.9 provides in the axial view an upright image thanks to its UPC function (Upright Picture Control). With its small diameter of 60 mm, the camera can be connected to all IBAK camera tractors and has also full bend capability when operated as push camera.
The system is protected by an internal operating pressure of 1 bar and internal pressure monitoring – in case of a pressure drop the inspector receives a warning signal on the LCD display and a warning tone in the control unit. If the customer requires, IBAK can also deliver the ORION models with increased pressure resistance.
The latest camera model, the IBAK ORION 2.9, provides a large angle of aperture, excellent light sensitivity and 3x zoom. Furthermore, its focus depth is remarkable. Due to its enhanced features, the camera is also ideally suited for the inspection of larger pipes. Inspections up to DN 600 can be carried out without the need for additional lights with the ORION 2.9.
Depending on the field of application, the IBAK ORION 2.9 is available with or without explosion protection. Using the integrated location transwithter, the camera’s position can be determined at any time. The in-built laser (2.7) in combination with the IKAS software allows you to make easy diameter and deformation measurements while inspecting the sewer pipe.
The housing made of aircraft aluminium offers resistance to high pressures and a very light weight. These combined qualities allow long travel distances in push operation, and provide maximum camera robustness at the same time. High-strength materials, which are required for the explosion resistance impact test, are used in explosion- safe and non-explosion-safe cameras.

Its guide unit, the "Kiel rod", can be panned and rotated in all directions and guides the camera smoothly into the target pipe. Its fast direction-changing function and mechanical sturdiness set the ORION L apart from other divertable camera systems for the inspection of house drains.
The ORION 2.8 L has been available since the beginning of 2012 with larger angle of aperture, a 3x digital zoom, and increased light sensitivity. The new version now also has improved image quality.
This camera, which can be deployed in DN 100 and up, has all the identifiable ORION features: full rotatability of the camera head, remote-controlled operation of the viewing direction and all functions of the lens system and internal pressure monitoring. Specially arranged LEDs provide excellent illumination of the inspection area and ensure a superb picture that shows up even the smallest defects. The ORION 2.8 L provides an upright image in the axial view thanks to its UPC function (Upright Picture Control).
The IBAK ORION L can be modularly connected to all IBAK push rods and is particularly effective in combination with the LISY 3 satellite systems. An explosion-safe model is also available. In short, it is userfriendly, robust and low-maintenance – like all IBAK cameras.

The CERBERUS is a hand-held TV camera – with its ergonomically designed holder, lightweight design and automatic shutter and focus functions that can be activated if required, video recording is as easy as pie. The CERBERUS features all desirable camera functions, such as a 10x optical zoom, autofocus and automatic/manual shutter.
The CERBERUS is connected to TV systems via the extension kit. Continuous voice contact is possible between the operator and the inspector, as a headset ensures interference-free communication with the control centre via the camera cable. In this way operator and inspector can work closely while performing special inspection tasks.
Two durable high-power LED headlights and the 10x optical zoom lens are particularly useful for showing up cracks and small defects.
By projecting two laser points on the TV picture at a defined distance from each other, the inspector can easily estimate relative sizes depicted in the picture and thus efficiently evaluate the condition of the sewer.

The RETRUS allows easier and safer reversing in many situations. Problematic areas detected during forward travel, such as protruding obstructions, damage and displacements are recognised during reversing, so that the operator can react accordingly and prevent damage to the system.
Optimised synchronisation between IBAK winches and IBAK camera tractors guarantees a maximum range at constant speed and a fast automated reversing. However, there are situations where controlling the reverse procedure with a back-eye camera is recommended. For example, if a steerable tractor is in a rectangular conduit, RETRUS makes the reversing procedure for the inspector easier. The danger of a collision between camera tractor and pipe wall is avoided using the back-eye option.
RETRUS also offers invaluable advantages when it comes to reversing with a disconnected winch (with synchronisation switched off). The danger of the camera tractor running over the camera cable is minimised with the back-eye camera.
The IBAK T 66 is a versatile camera tractor for the inspection of sewers of DN 100 and up.
It can either be used as a portable inspection system or for extending an existing camera tractor system.
A variety of camera connections, wheel sets and a tractor extension kit make it possible to configure the T 66 optimally for different requirements. It is equipped with the modular IBAK camera connection so that all IBAK cameras can be operated with the T 66. Even when used with the two largest zoom cameras, ORPHEUS or ARGUS 5, it achieves good stability and traction.

In larger pipes the use of an ancillary light is recommended. Even larger pipe diameters are easily mastered by the T66 if fitted with the FW 66 tractor extension kit. It is recommended to use the easily installed FW 66 for DN 300 upwards.
The T 66 contains an electronic stabilisation function (ATC = Automatic Tilt Compensation). This function provides active overturn protection, allowing the tractor to drive safely in the pipe invert. The T 66's modular design and the use of only a single tool for fitting individual components result in short set-up times for the pipe adaptations, resulting in more efficient working.
Top performance using a portable system IBAK's ORION pan and tilt camera, the KT 180/ KW 104 / KW 204 cable drum, the BP 4 or control box and the T 66 camera tractor, will provide you with a compact, high-performance, portable inspection system.
An extension to the existing tractor system The power spectrum of the existing IBAK tractor range has been enhanced by the addition of the T 66 camera tractor, which makes pipe inspections of DN 100 and up possible.

In combination with a lowering device, the vertically and horizontally bendable folding connector for the camera cable and the bendable camera connection assure easy handling. The camera tractor can be easily and conveniently introduced into any pipe of DN 150 and up – with the corresponding accessories also through manholes with diameters of DN 300 and DN 400 and up.
The wheel sets are supplied with the camera tractor and the optional integrated electronic height adjusting device; this allows convenient inspections with a centred camera in pipe diameters up to DN 700 For pipes with larger diameters, suitable accessories are available.
The T 76 has an electronic stabilising function which automatically guides the camera tractor back into the pipe invert if its position deviates. All components and sub-assemblies are designed for maximum robustness and reliability. The T 76 as well as the T 86 are designed as a modular system consisting of the tractor base, the camera base, a positioning unit and wheels. Both tractors can be easily assembled and reconfigured as necessary by the user with just a few manual actions required.
Customers with an IBAK KRA 75 or 85 can use their existing wheels on the T 76 and the T 86 too.

It can be operated in mainline sewers of DN 150 diameter upwards. An articulated joint allows easy entry into sewers, even where there is a bend in the sewer. With the plug-in height adjustable elements contained in the assembly kit, the camera tractor can be easily adapted to the pipe diameter with LISY 3.
Using LISY 3, laterals of DN 100 and up can be inspected from mainline sewers. The LISYCam 3 attachable control camera, which is used to continuously monitor the position of the equipment and which assists with inserting and forward feeding of the inspection camera, assures a seamless work flow.
For cleaning and inspection in a single operation, a PHOBOS series flushing nozzle can be attached to the push rod of the KW LISY synchronous winch or the KT 220.
The LISY 3, in combination with the T 76 / T 86 camera tractor, is a robust and durable inspection system which meets individual requirements and not only its high advancing speed but also its easy handling make it very appealing.

The result is the ability to visually assess the condition of manholes quickly and completely.
The 3D scanner uses two high-resolution digital cameras with specially designed distortion-free wide-angle lenses, which optically scan the entire interior of the manhole in a few seconds in one single vertical run. The digitally transwithted image data is immediately at the operator‘s disposal as a live picture. The condition of the manhole is then evaluated either in the office or directly on site.
Unlike a video from a conventional pan and tilt camera, which only shows the section of view saved at the time of recording, the IBAK PANORAMO SI viewer software provides a seamless inspection of the manhole. The inspector can stop at any position in the manhole, pan 360°, zoom and save snapshots.
An unfolded view of the manhole can be generated at the same time. This gives a rapid overview of the of the structure's condition and enables the user to measure objects on the manhole walls.
For further assessment of the data IBAK's IKAS sewer analysis software, the PANORAMO SI option manhole inspection, is available. With this software PANORAMO SI films are analysed easily and efficiently.
The results are inspection reports and inspection data to suit all commonly used data interfaces. The licence-free IBAK viewer software provides the customer with a complete overview.
The IBAK PANORAMO SI manhole inspection camera can be operated as an extension to IBAK PANORAMO inspection systems with a BS 5/BS 7 control unit, or as an installation kit for a vehicle (e.g. VW T5)

All three are designed for the operation with IBAK camera tractors and cameras. Also IBAK LISY on T76 / T86 in combination with the LISY winches is operated with KW 305 / 310 / 505.
The IBAK camera systems PANORAMO, PANORAMO 150 and PANORAMO SI can be operated with KW 310 and KW 505 (with FO cable).
The integrated traction regulating device synchronises camera tractor and cable winch operation: the cable is coiled onto and uncoiled from the winch in accordance with the speed of the camera tractor. This intelligent regulating system prevents the camera tractor from running over the camera cable and at the same time ensures that the camera tractor reverses at a consistent speed.
The swivel boom enables exact positioning of the camera system over the manhole. The relevant camera system can then be lowered safely and accurately into the manhole with the hoist, whilst the integrated workplace light provides optimum illumination of the manhole opening.
The automatic cable guide ensures even winding of the camera cable onto the winch.
In addition, the user can take advantage of the autostop function. This stops the camera tractor automatically at pre-defined positions when it is moving in reverse direction. This is particularly useful when it is approaching the entry manhole – a further example of the great user-friendliness of IBAK inspection systems.
The picture is transwithted safely and without loss by the KW 505 and KW 305 via optical fibre. The KW 505 can also be equipped with a thinner, lighter fibre optic cable to allow the cable winch to accommodate up to 600 metres and be operated using the BS 5.

The LISY winches are available in two different versions: the IBAK KW LISY Synchron motor-driven cable winch and the IBAK KT 220 manual cable drum.
The cable winch KW LISY Synchron can hold up to 180 m of camera cable; of which 40 m are for the so-called "Magic Push Rod". This is a guide hose containing both the camera cable and the push rod. The semi-rigid propulsion tube provides excellent bend capability and powerful propulsion and achieves long push lengths during lateral service inspections.
The KW LISY Synchron is motor-driven; winding on and off the cable is automatically synchronised via an electronic regulating device to the speed of the cable winch in operation (e.g. KW 305 or 505) and the LISY 3 camera tractor that is connected to it. This ensures particularly convenient and efficient working procedures.
The IBAK KT 220 cable drum is the manual version for KW LISY operation. It holds 130 m of camera cable, including 40 m of "Magic Push Rod" (guide tube with camera cable and push rod). The KT 220 is the version for installation in vehicles with liwithed capacity and payload.

It combines extreme durability with easy handling and can be used safely after only a short training period.
The MiniLite can be deployed together with the HYDRUS and a 30 metre Magic Push Rod from DN 50 upwards. In pipes of this size its ability to negotiate bends of 90° is guaranteed.
All other push cameras that can be attached to a Magic Push Rod (up to 40 m in length) or a Perfect Push Rod (up to 80 m) can be deployed in larger pipe diameters.
The 10.4" MiniLite display provides excellent picture quality for all camera variants. Our location transwithter (fitted on POLARIS, ORION and ORION L and JUNO) can be operated easily from the MiniLite control console.
Where deployed with the ORION or POLARIS, the system can make laser measurements at the push of a button (optional). Text can be input and image or video files can be saved to an SD card simply and easily. The foil keyboard is particularly large, allowing the user to enter data even with gloves on. The whole system is fully splash-proof and very easy to clean.

Both these central control and operating units consist of an ergonomically designed control console (BP 3.5), a 19" rack mount and a keyboard. All current IBAK tractors, winches and cameras can be operated with either system, the connected components are automatically identified by the system. This automatic identification turns the touch screen into a particularly user-friendly device that is instantly usable.
The tractor and the camera are operated in a user-friendly manner with both joysticks. The touch-screen also offers the user a wide variety of other possibilities, such as an information menu where all assembled components and components identified by the system are displayed on a colour display. In addition, various features can be controlled, such as light intensity, different functions of the camera and the tractor as well as further system-relevant options.
Damage descriptions, symbols or comments entered via the keyboard can be overlaid with the integrated data display generator into the video image.
In addition, it is also possible to connect video recording devices. Spoken comments can be recorded using the integrated microphone in the control console; the audio output enables saving of these voice-overs synchronously to the inspection video.

All current IBAK cameras and tractors can be operated using it. The camera tractor and the respective camera are controlled via the ergonomically-shaped console, with two joysticks, enclosing the PC keyboard.
With its high-tech microprocessor control, the intelligent IBAK BS 5 control system identifies the system components connected and status information, such as the internal pressure of camera and tractor, supply voltage, lighting intensity as well as the height of the electronic height adjustment as a percentage, is displayed on the graphics LCD for the user.
Seven of the 16 control keys have pre-defined functions by default, and nine further keys are automatically assigned with functions by the system depending on the system configuration.
The IBAK BS 5 also has an integrated autostop function, which, in combination with cable winches KW 310 and 505, causes the tractor to stop at pre-defined points when driving in the reverse direction. This makes it much easier, for example, to approach the entry manhole correctly.
The polished, practical and energy-efficient design of the IBAK BS 5 guarantees efficient operation of IBAK inspection systems from every perspective.

One efficient, tried-and-tested solution would be to combine the IBAK ORION L with one of the three PHOBOS flushing nozzles, which are fed by the high-pressure flushing system. These are operated on either the LISY 3 combined with an IBAK-TV and flushing vehicle. Alternatively, you can use IBAK pushrod systems connected to the flushing vehicle. The IBAK flushing nozzles can be easily secured to the camera push rod and allow inspection and cleaning in a single operation.
You can achieve a high cleaning performance and good satellite drive for the TV camera with all PHOBOS models. This is thanks to the special design of the interior of the nozzle, in particular on the PHOBOS 2 and 4, which helps to reduce flow turbulence to a minimum, thus reducing any loss in performance within the nozzle.
When combined with the flexible IBAK ORION L camera, this even allows heavily branched or very long pipes to be cleaned and inspected with ease.
The IBAK PHOBOS 4 is switchable, and depending on the requirements, the direction of the water flow can be oriented either forwards or backwards.
With the water flow oriented forwards, accumulated material can be washed away on inspection; if the flow is oriented backwards it acts as a "reverse gear", especially in a branched lateral network with branches, as the water pressure aids the camera in moving around curves when travelling backwards.
The IBAK flushing vehicle with integrated high-pressure flushing technology and IBAK flushing nozzles perwiths the inspector to work highly efficiently, as: flushing and TV inspection can be performed in a single operation and – importantly – without leaving the mainline sewer, which means that you do not need to rely on inspection openings or transfer manholes.

In addition, a cleaning quality is achieved which makes it possible (depending on the degree of soiling) to inspect and clean underground water pipes and connections in a single operation. For this, the already renowned ORION L camera is the effective solution combined with one of the four cleaning nozzles supplied by a high pressure cleaning device. The cleaning nozzles are used with an IBAK TV inspection and cleaning vehicle. Another option is to use IBAK equipment that can be used for pushing connected to a vehicle equipped for cleaning. The IBAK cleaning nozzles can be attached to the camera push rod in just a few steps. With each PHOBOS model, a very strong propulsion for the inspection camera is obtained as well as a good cleaning performance.
The PHOBOS 2 and PHOBOS 4 models have been designed to meet the needs for propulsion and maximum range. In combination with the ORION L directional camera, it is even possible to easily clean and inspect branch networks and long distances. The PHOBOS 4 has two activatable water jets directed towards the front. The two jets can soften the residue in front of the camera and therefore facilitate passage. In addition, during the passage, the accumulated materials are thus carried out of the pipe. The water jet also allows easy removal when operating the nozzle. The strong point of PHOBOS 1 is the cleaning of pipes. Thanks to the 5 orifices of the nozzle and a flat jet angle of 30 °, the best cleaning results are achieved with it.
The PHOBOS 3D cleaning nozzle occupies an exceptional place: unlike other cleaning nozzles, it forms a unit with the camera cable. It is connected and is used directly on the cleaning hose. Combined with the ORION camera, it facilitates the advance when going through difficult bends. Thanks to its special construction, it guarantees exact position and jerk-free movement, allowing the camera to precisely follow the path of the pipe. The PHOBOS 3D is used for the measurement of the plotting in 3 dimensions and the measurement of the hydrostatic height. IBAK cleaning vehicles with their integrated high pressure cleaning technology and IBAK nozzles allow maximum work efficiency for the inspector: cleaning and TV inspection take place in one operation,

The deformation measurement is carried out by a laser diode mounted on a pipe camera (TRITON, JUNO, ORION, ORPHEUS, ARGUS 5, PANORAMO). Depending on pipe diameter and camera type, the laser extension and support may vary.
The laser profiler mode of operation is based on a laser ring, which is projected onto the pipe wall and subsequently recorded by the connected camera. The software calculates the data received and creates a 3D model of the pipe geometry. It is also possible to generate two-dimensional illustrations and graphics.
With these graphic illustrations all requisite information regarding the diameter, ovality, deformation, corrosion, percentage of full capacity, minimum/maximum diameter as well as horizontal and vertical diameter (X and Y) in mm can be deduced.
The data collected by the whole recording can be viewed and shared using our licence-free viewer at any time.
This system provides for a high level of accuracy (tolerance ±0.5% in relation to pipe diameter). The IBAK Laser Profiler is an international measuring instrument recognised by the WRC (Water Research Council) in England and the Department of Transportation USA.

The floating body is secured by means of a pull rope. That makes it possible to inspect either with or against the current in the pipeline.
You can mount any of IBAK‘s cameras using the appropriate adapters. It is also possible to achieve the correct centre of gravity by placing a variety of counterweights.

Individual detailed solutions of first class quality from IBAK form the basis for a long service life and cost-effective operation Lightweight, high-quality outfitting materials provide ample space for the required inspection components; insulation of the van body ensures balanced temperatures in the vehicle.
The work areas in both the operator's section and the equipment section are of functional design in line with ergonomic requirements and ensure comfortable and at the same time smooth working procedures.
The power supply to the TV system is emission-free thanks to the use of state of the art battery systems.
An extensive range of optional extras enable us to meet individual requirements.

The AlliGator, MiniGator and all IBAK reconstruction components are all operated from it.
The cable winch is available in two sizes for hybrid cable lengths of 100 or 150 m. Only a single cable is required to operate electric cutting and grinding robots. This cable has a diameter of 28 mm and is lead by a cross spindle.
The cable winch module is supplied by an electrical drive; it is equipped with a metre counter, speed control and an electrical switch box. Two integrated water pumps and water tanks cool the cutting motor and clean the camera.

The removable wheels and a folding handle allow the unit to be transported easily by a single person, as well as perwithting it to be used even in hard to access locations. This feature makes it unique on the market.
Its lightweight aluminium frame makes the 82-kilogram capstan winch easy to handle.
It is positioned directly over the manhole for pulling in lining or chains of lighting.
The winch is driven by a 4-stroke petrol engine, giving it a maximum pulling power of 12 kN (1.2 T).

High powered cutting motors are deployed from the durable cutter chassis. The main body expands to center the tool in the pipeline and the on-board monitoring camera ensures that you can operate the unit with ease. You can even make 360° cuts!

Over the past few years, the PANORAMO® product line has been further improved on the basis of its well proven technology. The result is an even much more brilliant picture with 4K resolution. The abbreviation 4K stands for 4000 and means the approximate number of horizontal picture elements (4096 × 2160 pixels). So this means that the resolution is four times greater than full HD. To achieve such brilliance and to allow this high resolution to be displayed on the monitor and stored, the transmission path has been revolutionized. For the first time in the history of IBAK, a Gigabit Ethernet Standard is being used for the transmission of images and other data.
IBAK has very positive experience in the implementation of fiber-optic technology. With the Gigabit Ethernet Standard, a data transmission rate of up to a billion bits (one gigabit) per second is possible. In the new PANORAMO® generation, as with most other IBAK cameras, there will be the option of integrating a 3D sensor for pipe run measurement.

- Clean cities are crucial to healthy people and healthy economies
People work, play, walk, run, and live in the city. They use streets, footpaths, parks, squares, and car parks—and they want them to be clean and safe.
Street sweepers help keep storm drainage systems clear, improving stormwater runoff quality. Sweeping also improves air quality, removing fine dirt, sand, and ultrafine particulates from cracks and crevices in the pavement.
Debris on the road can pose a hazard in other ways, too, from nails that can cause flat tires to rocks that become dangerous projectiles when thrown by a car tire. It's better having street sweepers to clean before an accident happens.
Living in a clean environment is more than just a matter of aesthetics. It's about appreciating the city as a pleasant place to get out and enjoy a breath of fresh air—a place that encourages a healthy lifestyle for the whole family.
Urban economies rely on corporate investment, dynamic local businesses and stores, and visitor appeal. Clean cities have a clear advantage in this respect.
A clean city will attract investors, multinational branch operations, even head offices. Because dirt is not a corporate value, clean cities are places investors look for to develop their business.
Local businesses and stores focus on serving their customers, but a dirty environment is not exactly a customer incentive. One after another, stores and businesses will leave a dirty town.
Garbage is also a real turnoff for tourists and for visitors attending meetings or conferences. A bad experience is bad for repeat business—and a surefire way to drive tourists and business travelers away.
Having a compact street sweeper designed to handle every kind of paving surface in every corner of the city is surely a good investment.

Efficient Operation
Thanks to its unique packing mechanism, the Quantum XL is able clear the hopper in only 15 to 18 seconds. That is up to 13 seconds faster than the industry standard. While 13 seconds may seem small, it adds up quickly over the course of a day, week, month, and year. Having a more efficient packer means you spend less per account on equipment costs, wages, and fuel burn.
More Legal Payload
The Quantum XL’s super-fast speed eliminates the need for the traditionally inefficient and heavy tailgate designs found in the industry. Instead, Curbtender Inc uses a 2.5 cubic yard hopper that is capable of processing 9.5 cubic yards of material per minute.
Increased efficiency directly translates to a reduction in body weight. The 20 YD Quantum XL weighs in at only 10,650 lbs. The Quantum XL’s lightweight design combined with up to 900 pounds per cubic yard compaction provides industry leading legal payload capacity.

Cardboard Special
Haulers on cardboard or recycling routes have always struggled to maximize payload. Thanks to the Titan’s optional “cardboard package,” haulers experience a dramatic increase in total payload. Curbtender installs high performance hydraulic cylinders and other proprietary tweaks to the system to help condense cardboard material more efficiently. The result becomes vividly clear the first time you eject a “cardboard loaf” at the transfer station.
In Control
The Titan’s optional electronic controls package allows for incredibly easy operation. Just pull back the joystick and let the Titan automatically dump the container and then set it back down exactly in the spot you picked it up at. Service becomes even easier with the on-board diagnostics screen that displays every input and output of the electronic control system, and whether or not it is sending/receiving a signal.

Affordability by Design
Curbtender’s patented articulated arms allow the Titanium to be mounted on a Freightliner M2106 conventional chassis, which can cost up to $40,000 less than a cab-over-engine truck chassis. Still want a COE? The Titanium has optional single piece welded arms which allow it to be mounted on a cab-over when needed.
Light on Weight, Heavy on Tough
Designed using the concepts of a rear load body, the Titanium inherently has a durable high compaction body yet weighs less than the traditional front load body design. When mounted on an M2 chassis, the patented articulated lift arms are rated at 6,000 lbs. Meanwhile, the Titanium’s single piece lift arms used for COE configurations are rated at 8,000 lbs.

The PowerPak continues to be on the forefront of automated waste collection thanks to reliable electronics and efficient hydraulic controls.
Air Over Hydraulic PLC
Simple yet robust, the PowerPak is available with an air-over-hydraulic system with a programmable logic controller. This 3rd generation PLC features a rugged mobile controller that can handle the severe shock and vibrations that refuse trucks experience. Many of our competitors instead use a delicate printed circuit board designed for industrial PLC systems.
Electronic Proportional Controls
Our electronic proportional controls option (EPC) is by far the most popular control system ordered by our customers. This feature-rich system allows smoother arm operation, driver customization, and on-board diagnostics. Taking a step into the digital age doesn’t require sacrificing reliability either. The PowerPak’s EPC system features a standard 5-Year warranty on operational controls.
Designed for Your Route
The PowerPak’s body features a 1,000 lbs per cubic yard compaction rating and a standard 5-year body structural warranty. Choose Full Ejection or Tip-to-Dump style according to your preference. A flat tailgate or bubble tailgate can be installed to create the ideal weight distribution for your region. Optional steel “wear liners” and heavy duty follower panels are available for seriously heavy-duty routes. From the ground up, the PowerPak is designed to be a high-performance machine tailored to your needs.

The HammerPak is named after its patented packing mechanism which features a hammer-like packing panel. The packing panel pivots forward and backward inside a curved hopper, much like the swing of a hammer. With this design, the packer makes a “clean sweep” with every stroke and eliminates the need for a hopper clean-out door. The HammerPak is rated for 700 pounds per cubic yard compaction.
Extending Your Capability
A 12′ reach arm, called the Xtender, comes standard on the HammerPak automated side loader. This simple arm is one of the most robust extended reach arms available on the market. Some arms made by our competitors require major overhauls annually. Whereas, the Xtender arm provides more operating time before service is needed. Need even more durability? Curbtender’s famous “Power Arm” is available on the HammerPak with a lift capacity limited to 850 pounds and a 5 year structural warranty.
Designed for a Lower Cost of Ownership
The HammerPak is an inherently simple automated side loader designed with fewer moving parts and less hydraulic components. The packing mechanism is actuated by a single roof-mounted hydraulic cylinder. Using a roof-mounted pack cylinder keeps the rod and seal out of the trash zone and thereby extends its expected life. The tailgate is opened using a single, roof-mounted cylinder. This robust cylinder replaces the two body side mounted cylinders normally used to open a tailgate. One multi-stage cylinder is mounted in front of the hopper to lift the body and eject the load, similar to a dump truck. In total, the HammerPak has nearly 25% less hydraulic components than a standard automated side loader.

Leaf Vacuum

Leaf Collection, With a Punch
Unlike traditional leaf collection machines, the VacPak is able to maximize the amount of leaves collected thanks to its packing mechanism. For most of the year this packing mechanism can be used to maximize trash payload. But during the fall months, its packing force helps to push the leaves into a condensed load as the vacuum pulls more leaves into the body.
Free to Wander
The VacPak’s vacuum hose boom articulates side-to-side with the use of a joystick, allowing the user to direct suction towards piles of leaves without the use of an assistant. The boom is controlled by the same rugged rotary hydraulic cylinder that Curbtender uses on its street sweeper gutter brooms.
Ready to Haul
The VacPak is a versatile manual side loading refuse truck. The body structure and compactor design is derived from the well-known TomCat side loader series manufactured by Curbtender Inc and Wayne Engineering for several decades. During the off season, the VacPak is designed to collect waste from either side and can be equipped with a variety of cart tippers or barrel lifters. The VacPak’s lightweight 18 cubic yard body has sidewalls made entirely of abrasion resistant metal to ensure years of productive service. Loads are ejected using a “full ejection” method rather than “tip-to-dump.”
