Alex Phelps joins Vacuum Truck Rentals as Service Manager of Vacuum Truck Rentals’ Livonia, Michigan location.
Vacuum Truck Rentals proudly announces the promotion of Keith Veros to the position of General Manager of its Michigan branch office, effective April 1, 2024. Keith previously served as Service Manager since May 2023 and brings over 15 years of extensive experience in industrial air, sewer cleaning, waste hauling, and pipeline inspection equipment to his new role.
Prior to joining Vacuum Truck Rentals, Keith held positions as a product specialist and territory manager with various organizations across Michigan. Most recently, he served as Operations Manager for an International Pipeline Inspection Equipment distributor, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational prowess.
During his tenure at Vacuum Truck Rentals, Keith has consistently displayed initiative and leadership within the service department, effectively managing a team of mechanics and providing top-notch customer service. His dedication to the industry and commitment to customer satisfaction have earned him respect both in Michigan and across the United States and Canada.
In his new role as General Manager, Keith will succeed Mike Suiter and focus on expanding the branch’s inventory of parts and equipment while nurturing existing customer relationships and forging new ones.

Prior to joining Vacuum Truck Rentals, Alex served as the lead mechanic for a prominent municipal contractor in Michigan, where he oversaw the servicing, maintenance, and DOT compliance of a large fleet comprising over 100 pieces of rolling stock. His extensive background encompasses both company-owned fleet services and retail automotive service and repair.
As Service Manager, Alex will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Vacuum Truck Rentals’ customers receive top-notch service, with rental and sold equipment maintained to the highest operational standards. “Alex has an exceptional demeanor both on the phone and in-person with customers, coupled with unparalleled knowledge of our equipment and field experience,” remarked Mike Suiter, Strategic Account Manager at Vacuum Truck Rentals.
